The CIGWELD Zirconiated (White-Tip) Tungsten Electrodes are ideal for AC TIG welding, especially on aluminium and magnesium alloys. Known for their exceptional ball-forming ability, they maintain a stable balled tip with high resistance to contamination, ensuring a smooth and steady arc. Their performance is optimised for AC High-Frequency welding, helping break up the oxide layer on aluminium for cleaner, stronger welds. These electrodes are designed exclusively for AC use and are not suitable for DC welding.
